There is nowhere else. Is there a region with more initiates in Freemasonry? Possibly, but very few. Tuscany is the daughter of the Renaissance; the Renaissance is the son of the study of alchemy and the rediscovery of Neoplatonism. It is in this climate that the true Tuscan spirit is born: a free and open spirit, free of bigotry.
